Join us for one of our most popular events - High Tea at the Inn at Harvard.

Each year AWC members gather to build meaningful connections, share some holiday cheer, and help others during a time of need. This year the AWC has selected the children in the Power Lunch programs of Everybody Wins! Metro Boston by providing books for them to read with their Power Lunch reading mentors.

Bring a book to donate to the Power Lunch program and enjoy a discount to the High Tea. For book suggestions or to purchase books for delivery directly to Everybody Wins! Metro Boston, go to EWMB's Amazon Wish List and you'll find the Power Lunch wish list from Darcy Madden, the Executive Director of Everybody Wins! Metro Boston.

For directions, go to www.theinnatharvard.com/directions.html

Members only, please sign-up before Wednesday, 12/3/08.

Everybody Wins! Metro Boston is the Boston-based affiliate of Everybody Wins! USA, a national literacy and mentoring nonprofit organization that increases children's opportunities for success in school and in life through one-to-one reading experiences with caring adults. Everybody Wins! signature program, Power Lunch, is a lunchtime reading and mentoring program proven to improve reading skills and attitudes toward reading. Each week, volunteers from businesses and community groups travel to local elementary schools during the lunch hour for one-to-one reading with students, promoting the skills and love of reading through reading aloud, sharing favorite stories, and talking about books.
